LV's Restaurant
About This Spot
At LV's Restaurant, the moment you step inside feels like being welcomed into a long-standing family gathering. There’s a warmth here — not just from the hearty kitchen aromas but from the steady hum of conversation and the laughter that drifts easily through the room. It’s a place where time slows a bit, encouraging you to savor both the food and the company, whether you’re nestled in for a quiet meal or joining in on lively weekend nights filled with music and card games.
With the casual, unpretentious vibe of a neighborhood soul food spot and the spirited buzz of a community sports bar, LV’s strikes a unique balance. The crew behind the counter moves with familiarity and care, mindful of the steady flow of regulars and newcomers alike who come here for genuine connection as much as for the food.
The menu unfolds like a comforting story told through classic Southern flavors — dishes rich with character that don’t need embellishment, just the right seasonings and soulful preparation. Whether it’s the tender fried fish paired with collard greens and cornbread or the indulgent Mac and Cheese served alongside crispy chicken wings, each plate carries a sense of home and tradition. Sweet notes from a strawberry banana pudding or a slice of pecan pie linger like fond memories, completing the experience.
This is a space where meals stretch into conversations, where the kitchen’s pulse is felt in every dish, and where the old-fashioned joy of gathering around good food and heartfelt hospitality is quietly celebrated. While the decor may feel straightforward and lived-in, it only underscores the authenticity of LV’s — a place built not on flash, but on the simple, rich pleasures of soul food and shared moments.

Family owned establishment. Outstanding customer service matched with food seasoned so good no added condiments required. Music, dance floor, and card playing late Saturday night. Definitely returning!

Atmosphere and food were SO GOOD! Service was a bit slow as far as getting food and there were a couple items we ordered that we never received, but the server was nice. If you’re looking for a delicious, home cooked style meal this is the place to go!

You really have to check this Family Own spot out! First ordering from them and the food is amazing. Everything that I ordered was immaculate and very delicious. Customer service was amazing! Due to the massive orders it was an hour wait but it is well worth it. Please be patient I went up there to place my order because phone orders was coming in nonstop. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and attentive to every customer( not just me). While I waited I ordered a drink and it was very good. Everyone should checkout this spot if you would like a home cook meal and a drink during Happy Hours or just getting off work and you need to unwind. Go Check Them Out.

Lived in the area for years and had never eaten here. It was definitely my loss. The fried fish was cooked to perfection. Delicious flavor. Staff was super nice. We also got the Moby Whiteing sammich and it was huge and delicious. The strawberry crumble banana pudding is something that makes you sad when it’s gone. Will definitely be ordering again. Nice little hidden gem in Hampton.

It was the absolute best soul food! The ribs were falling off the bone, the collard greens were fresh- not canned. The green beans, fried chicken and cabbage were all amazing. The only draw back is the dated interior and supplies out in the dining area that looked junky.ill definitely go back!!

I love ordering here especially when you are in the mood for some good soul food! Great prices, awesome customer service. They do take a little longer on food. But it’s definitely worth the wait ! I always get the same thing. Sweet chili wings with macaroni & cabbage. Also the corn bread ! Is a hit every time.
